Gym Visits during the Rainy Season.
Monsoon floods Janavaree Hingun
The rainy season is here!
The Southwest Monsoon or Hulangu Moosun started in May this year. The frequency and unpredictability of rain and increased flooding keep some of our clients away from the gym.
Staying at home feeling
Low Energy
The frequent downpours, drop in outside temperature coupled with high humidity leaves you less energetic and more sluggish. The monsoon blues hits you!
Your gym visits drop and sometimes fade away. This is not good. The benefit of exercise is in its consistency. You lose your gains (muscle mass) after a break of three months or more! The Southwest Monsoon technically lasts almost six months up to November.
Average Gym Visits
For a gym goer, an average of 2-3 weekly gym visits is ideal to maintain muscle mass. Hardcore clients who maintain 4 or more gym visits maintain their fitness during the rainy season.
Continue Gym Visits
Frequent downpours, high humidity and low energy are some of the reasons gym goers lose their gym habit during the Monsoon season. Do not let this happen to you. Get ready and dress properly for the gym during the Monsoons.
FLOODING
Mayor Adam Azim
We are located in Janavaree Hingun and flooding in our section of the road have made entering the the Male’ Fitness Club inconvenient. However, this April, the Male’ City Council have cleaned the mud collected in the gutters over the last few years. We are hopeful that the cleaned drainage will keep our road from flooding this season.
